Things I couldn't live with out...

Have you ever had anything jump in your shopping cart and just BEG to come home with you?! Well...let me tell you...it happened to me at Old Navy! How could I resist?!

Trent is an industrial firefighter for Lyondell, in Channelview, and recently joined the Mont Belvieu Fire Department. He absolutely loves it. I am grateful that he has chosen to put his talent to good work. You never know, he might just save a life one day. I was shopping at the Galleria when I found the cutest little fireman boots...EVER!! I gave them to Trent for Valentine's Day and he loved them! He can't wait to have Beamers pictures taken with the fire engine!

Ford the Frog

I had lunch with Granny Moms and Kalina today, at McAlisters Deli! It was delish! Plus...Auntie Kalina brought me and Beamer a very cute gift!

Ford the Frog is just the cutest thing ever!! He is a Pacimal, the huggable pacifier. Beamer will have a paci and a lovie all in one. I love the book! Feed the Belly: The pregnant mom's healthy eating guide. I have already made "Love that Bump Lemonade"...delish! The Extra Chocolatey Cupcakes will be tried this weekend!

Say it ain't so!!!

One of the many things I have learned while pregnant...
Caffeine will not make you have a three headed baby!

"Cant-find-itis"

It strickens most men shortly after marriage, when they think their wives have become their mother. I have to believe that there is some sort of chromosome connection.

The New England Journal of Medicine needs to do a study on the correlation between opening a refrigerator door (or closet door) and loss of eyesight. I firmly believe all men take the path of least resistance, they know we are going to tell them or just get it for them, so why look for themselves. I promise, I saw him looking at the ceiling once for something like it was gonna drop from heaven. Seriously!!!

Classic example tonight...

He opens closet door---two seconds later---closes closet door---yells NOPE didn't see it...any idea where it is?!---He is now walking around the house humming with his hands behind his back. Oh wait, he is looking in the drawers under the TV! Now he is in the garage. What can he be possibly looking for that would be in his closet or the garage?! Just 3 short minutes later he is back in the closet. I went and put him out of his misery...our closet was getting destroyed! He is looking for a cord for his phone. We have a box of a bagillion cords...he will be looking all night!!

Amazingly, he is extremly organized when it comes to his garage - a place for everything, and everything in its' place! Well kinda...have you seen his garage. Wowzers!

Do your guys suffer from "Cant-find-itis" or is it just mine?!

All About Baby Names

Quiz: What's Your Baby Naming Style? - Baby Names - All About Baby Names

Your style is… CLASSIC

From movies, to books, to fashion icons, you sure have an appreciation for all things classic. So, chances are, when it comes to naming baby, you probably won’t spring for anything too unusual. You’d much rather stick to traditional names that have some real staying power than risk having your kid taunted on the basketball court. (Smart move.) Just don’t confuse traditional with boring (i.e. think about going beyond the Anns, Jennifers, and Jasons.) Our advice: There are definitely tons of classic baby names to choose from that are still unique enough to seem original. And trust us, baby will be grateful later -- when there aren’t 10 other kids with the same name on the kindergarten roster.

Ummm...really?!

There are some message boards that I follow, along with other expecting mommas, and today they asked people to share advice or pregnancy stories. Check out what this one lady had to say....

"Just wait until your baby pulls on the umbilical cord and you see your belly button moving. It's the best experience ever.."

She thinks the baby’s umbilical cord is connected to her belly button. ummmmm.....really?! Her poor doctor.
